---Artificalidad---
Hailing from Chile this band is surely making a name for themselves.  The band started out with the name, Bottomless Wound, but later changed it to Disnomia. The band has been around since late 2010. While I have not heard their previous stuff yet I cannot compare the two. If their past work is anything like this new record, Artificialidad, then chances are I will adore it.  This album is one that delivers with high expectations in my opinion,

Artificialidad consists of five post black melancholic metal tracks with a time limit a little over forty minutes.  Interesting enough this band takes the music where others of the genre forget to take it. I didn't expect much but was I wrong. Artificialidad has many dark, aggressive, and mournful moments to make one feel dreary. Plenty of memorable moments and catchy dreamy melodies are one of the high points of this record.  The sound of the instruments are well balanced from harsh guitars, acoustic strumming, keys, and some experimental atmosphere. It's also good to hear bass lines be the highlight of some of the somberest tracks heard throughout the album.  For the most part this band does its justice to keep the listener intrigued.

Fans of the post black, depressive genre should give this a listen,  They seem to do more in the genre than most mediocre bands coming out these days.  A very nice blend of depressive black metal with post rock moments is what you get here with the band.  Artificialidad prevails in my opinion.  Check out the band camp page for FREE download of Artificialidad as well as previous albums as well.
